Seating Sharing Pause

Working with local and sustainable materials means giving soul to the spaces we design. With Sonian Wood, we have incorporated solid wood from the Sonian Forest into two distinct projects. For the Bara project, dedicated to collective housing, small wooden seats are scattered throughout the outdoor areas. Their placement encourages encounters and relaxation, adding a warm and playful touch to this shared space. In the Station project, a single-family home, solid wood surfaces serve as built-in seating for low furniture, enhancing both the entrance hall and the living room, or functioning as a desk shelf. Their raw finish highlights the material’s natural simplicity, grounding the project in a dialogue with nature and craftsmanship. Through these collaborations, Sonian Wood brings an authentic aesthetic and a resource-conscious approach to our projects.
