Echoes of nature

Cork is a recurring material in our projects due to its aesthetic and functional qualities, such as its acoustic and thermal insulation properties. Natural, pleasant to the touch, acoustically effective, and versatile in terms of decoration, it offers numerous possibilities for use. The expanded cork we have selected comes from Ecobati, a manufacturer specializing in thermal and acoustic insulation, as well as in ecological decoration (paints, oils, varnishes, flooring, marmeleum, clay and lime plasters, etc.).
In this project, cork serves as a central element that runs throughout the residence. It is used in playful compositions in the game room, storage niches in the living room's library, and bulletin boards in the bedrooms. In our office, it acts as a project tracking board, reminiscent of the famous panels used in police films, while in a residential setting, it becomes a space to display memories, precious moments, and children's creations.
