RECYCLED STREET AND GARDEN FURNITURE IN OPEN SPACES
As part of a reuse approach, we collaborated with several committed stakeholders. Bâti Terre repurposes materials while supporting people in professional reintegration. Sonian Wood Coop sustainably processes local wood from the Sonian Forest. Bleu Noir Brut, a metalworking workshop, restores antique elements. Lastly, one of our clients provided a manual water pump to raise awareness about water management.
In the Bara project, these collaborations came to life in the exterior design. Bâti Terre crafted wooden and metal benches using reclaimed structural metal beams and wooden beams. Sonian Wood supplied solid oak seats sourced locally. A restored cast iron floor lamp, revived by Bâti Terre and Bleu Noir Brut, poetically connects past and present. Finally, rainwater tanks supply the manual water pump, offering both a practical and educational feature.
These achievements reflect our commitment to sustainable and locally sourced architecture.
